Code of Conduct Against the Sexual Exploitation of Children and Adolescents
Peru Andean Views, in compliance with Law No. 28251 – Law Against Sexual Abuse and Exploitation, reaffirms its firm commitment to protecting the rights of children and adolescents within the tourism sector, strictly rejecting any form of sexual exploitation related to travel and tourism activities.
With the purpose of preventing, detecting, and reporting such crimes, our company adopts and enforces a mandatory Code of Conduct for its legal representatives, executives, employees, suppliers, and strategic partners, ensuring full compliance with current regulations and promoting responsible, ethical, and sustainable tourism.
Commitments of Peru Andean Views
The company commits to:
Not promoting, directly or indirectly, tourism activities or services that involve the sexual exploitation of children or adolescents.
Not providing information, facilitating contacts, or indicating locations related to the commercial sexual exploitation of minors.
Not transporting or guiding tourists, by any means, to places where sexual exploitation of minors occurs, nor facilitating access by third parties to tourist accommodations for such purposes.
Not providing vehicles, routes, or tourism services that may be used for the purpose of sexual abuse or exploitation of minors.
Preventing the entry of children and adolescents into tourism establishments when there is a risk of abuse or exploitation.
Adopting preventive measures to ensure that staff, under any employment or contractual relationship, do not offer or facilitate tourism services with sexual purposes involving minors.
Immediately reporting to MINCETUR and the competent authorities any act, indication, or location related to the sexual exploitation of children and adolescents.
Implementing internal reporting channels and an institutional policy for the prevention of sexual exploitation in travel and tourism.
Providing ongoing training to all personnel on the prevention of commercial sexual exploitation of minors.
Informing users and tourists about the legal consequences in Peru of sexual exploitation and abuse of children and adolescents.
Displaying this Code of Conduct in a visible location for employees, collaborators, and service providers.
Legal Notice to Tourists
In accordance with Law No. 28251, Peru Andean Views informs its users and visitors that the sexual exploitation and abuse of children and adolescents in Peru constitute serious criminal offenses, punishable under current criminal and administrative legislation.
